Guangdong E-Fong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., established in 1992 in Lishui Town, Foshan City, is a pioneering company in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Founded by the Guangdong Provincial Research Institute of TCM, E-Fong is the first designated manufacturer of single TCM concentrated granules by China’s SFDA, and the research and development unit for these granules authorized by the State Administration of TCM.

To ensure the highest product quality, E-Fong adheres to strict principles of safety and seasonal procurement, specifying the origin and harvesting seasons for each herb. The company manages over 100 local medicinal material planting bases, carefully controlling every step of the process—from seedling cultivation to packaging. Its production processes combine traditional decoction methods with modern pharmaceutical technology to ensure safety, authenticity, and consistency.

With advanced Chinese medicine analysis technology, E-Fong scientifically verifies the authenticity of its products and rigorously tests for toxins such as heavy metals and pesticide residues. Extensive Production Capacity and Expertise in TCM Granules

E-Fong operates 11 production bases covering 170,000 square meters of floor area, with 45,000 square meters of finished buildings and an additional 100,000 square meters currently under construction. They are a professional enterprise specialising in the manufacturing and research of single concentrated TCM granules.

Strategic Growth and Certifications

In 2015, Yifang became part of China TCM Holdings (Stock code: 00570.HK), employing over 2,000 people and generating more than 6 billion RMB in sales in 2019. Yifang received its first GMP certification from the TGA of Australia in 1999, and has since passed over ten re-audits, alongside GMP certification from China’s SFDA in 2003.

Process Highlights

E-Fong uses a traditional water-based decoction method, enhanced by advanced equipment. Herbs are simmered at controlled temperatures and durations to extract their full therapeutic properties. E-Fong’s products contain no sugar, preservatives, flavoring agents, or artificial additives, ensuring purity and authenticity. With full-spectrum extraction, both water- and fat-soluble compounds are preserved for maximum efficacy.

Diverse Product Range and Global Reach

Backed by the Guangdong TCM Research Institute, Yifang has developed over 700 standardised TCM single granules, 700 botanical extracts, 160 traditional TCM formulas, and herbal teas. Its products are exported to more than 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
